I have over 20 years working in the mental health field. During that time, I have found that the most important part of the process is creating a safe space for individuals. In meeting clients where they are regardless of their background or current situation, I can provide the necessary therapeutic techniques to assist them in meeting their goals.
I am competent in treating depression, anxiety, grief, couples counseling, addiction, HIV/Aids, divorce, and all LGBTQ+ issues. I am passionate about walking beside those who need support in their journey through difficulties and toward a happier healthier life. Training in Somatic Experience, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as other trauma informed therapeutic techniques provide my ability to work with those that have experienced trauma or are going through life changing experiences.
Years of working with individuals and families suffering from the disease of addiction, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals, has provided me the opportunity to assist a variety of issues and individuals with unconditional positive regard. My goal for everyone that comes into my path is for them to know that they are worthy of love and happiness.
